Harrison Ford won't be replaced as Indiana Jones
There have been rumblings of late that if a new movie was to happen that someone like Chris Pratt would take over from Ford. But producer Frank Marshall told Total Film that they don't plan to go the Bond route and simply call someone else Indiana Jones.
"[We’re] not doing the Bond thing where we’re going to call somebody else Indiana Jones… we have to figure this out,” he said. This most likely points to someone acting as an understudy to Indiana Jones before being given the spotlight themselves.
We won't mention that other Indiana Jones movie that came after the trilogy, but something similar was attempted there.
There is the possibility that Indiana Jones 5 will never happen, but it's somewhat unlikely. The good news for fans is that Ford will get one last hurrah at least if a fifth film does go ahead.
