Many Hollywood movies have played on the dad and step-dad scenario, but Daddy’s Home is shaping up to be the funniest of the lot.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg put their comedy chops to good use once again, after previously working well together in The Other Guys, though this time they find themselves on opposite sides.

Will Ferrell is the loving step-dad to Linda Cardellini’s two kids, but he’s an average guy. Mark Wahlberg on the other hand is the rock star with the larger than life persona and a motorcycle. So begins a good old fashioned dad-off in which the two try to out-do one another at every turn to win the children’s affections.
