Ant-Man director back for the sequel

Ant-Man was more fun that it had any right to be, after a long and torturous production which saw the loss of writer/director Edgar Wright.

Ant-Man director back for the sequel

Peyton Reed stepped into that vacuum an managed to conjure up an entertaining heist caper with some funny scenes and a likeable lead, plus an hilarious turn by Michael Pena. And it seems Reed enjoyed the first film so much that he's back for the sequel.

Ant-Man and the Wasp has only just been announced for a 2018 release date but Reed has already been offered the job to helm. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are set to return and the director is apparently a huge Ant-Man fan so surely he's a safe bet to sign on. And will almost three years to get everything in order, it's likely to be a far less stressful job this time around.
