Nathan Fillion is better looking in Halo 5

Nathan Fillion is a marvellous fellow. He was in Firefly, which makes him already insanely cool but when you add in the fact that he's pretty and smart and oh-so-funny well he's the whole package really.

Fillion fans (which is everyone) will get to spend some more time with him very soon in Halo 5 as he plays one of the group of Spartan soldiers who are in pursuit of the Master Chief in the new game. He was obsessively modeled in 3D to capture him perfectly for the game and combined with his vocal performance it's very convincing. Like going on an adventure with Captain Mal. [Deep sigh...]

Anyway, Fillion was on with Jimmy Kimmel having the chats about the game and he revealed that while the model is very close to the real thing, some digital wizardry has been applied to make him just that little bit prettier. Check it out.

Fillion still looks great but he's definitely a swarthier fellow than back in his Firefly days. This is yet another glimpse at the way technology can help bring the best possible version of an actor to life, but its still nothing with the personality of the actual star.

Halo 5 is out on the 27th of October 2015.
