Game of Thrones the game episode 1 is free now

Telltale Games are really hitting it out of the park these days, with major tie ins like The Walking Dead and Tales from the Borderlands as well as a Minecraft title on the way.

The one series which doesn't seem to get as much attention is Game of Thrones, which is pretty strange when you consider how popular the HBO show is. Thankfully you can now get to see what all the fuss is about, with the first episode - Iron From Ice - now free to download on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, iOS and Android.

It's a painstaking recreation of the world of Westeros, from a slightly different perspective to what you're used to seeing. That said, you will cross paths with many familiar faces, and it turns out most of those characters are voiced by the real folks from the show as you can see in this star-studded video.
