Gilmore Girls could be coming back
Originally started on the WB in 2000, Gilmore Girls was all about a single mother and her precocious kid going through the trials and tribulations of growing up. It had a solid mix of drama and comedy, thanks to some great writing and performances by leads Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.
Apparently, Netflix is talking to creator Amy Sherman-Palladino about crafting four 90 minute episodes to bring these characters back and give them the airtime they deserve. That's great news for fans of their adventures, though you have to wonder how they're going to account for all the time that has gone by, it could be close to 10 years since the series ended by the time we see this new material.
We're hearing that the main cast and creative sorts are already on board, so expect to hear official word from Netflix soon.
