UPDATE: Four teaser trailers were also released ahead of the full length theatrical trailer which is expected to be unveiled during this evening’s Monday Night Football on ESPN.

The Force Awakens is one of the most highly anticipated movies of all time and Star Wars fans are loving every little bit of information we can get our hands on.

After having two amazing teaser trailers and a few other behind the scenes glimpses we can expect the trailer for the 7th movie tomorrow, whether it’s around midnight tonight or later on in the day.

But for now, we have been given a glimpse at the first official theatrical poster released from the JJ Abrams movie and it is beautiful!

Fans will immediately notice their favourite characters from the original trilogy of movies

Han Solo and Princess Leia are spotted in the centre surrounded by new characters, Finn, Rey, Po Dameron, and BB8.

Also getting predominant place in the spotlight is Kylo Ren who’s cross-guarded lightsaber is one of the most terrifying things in the galaxy.

But is someone missing? Someone very important. C3PO is there, with R2D2 and Chewbacca, but where’s Luke Skywalker?

Is there a reason he doesn’t appear on the poster?

Maybe he’s still pulling pints in Kerry.

Perhaps we will find out in the trailer or else we will have to wait for the movie!

Something you may have noticed is the giant orb in the background with, what looks like, a giant cannon or space gun sticking out the side of it?

Could this be the new Death Star or perhaps something more powerful and deadly?

Only time will tell…
