VIDEO The best moments in the Uncharted series

Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection is out, giving people the chance to discover the first three Uncharted games for the first time, or come back to them after many years. The best part of the collection, beyond the HD graphics and higher frame rate, is that the original games are intact and just as amazing as they were the first time they released on the PS3.

Here's a collection of the best moments from all three games, as chosen by the developers who actually worked on the original titles and their remasters. There are some amazing scenes here from a gameplay and narrative standpoint, but definitely don't watch if you're a noobie to the series!

The sequence in the games which has lingered with me the most is definitely the Tibetan Village which comes part way into Uncharted 2. The whole game has been a frenetic fight for survival up to now, with the constant sneaking and peril of the past story eventually linking up with how Nate ended up bleeding to death in a train hanging over an icy precipice.

And that's what makes the village so special, it's a totally tranquil place where you can walk around and see the amazing graphics and detail without having to worry about getting shot in the head. The pacing is so unusual for the series, and the mixture of presentation and music makes for a refreshing change of pace, which makes what happens afterwards all the more exciting.

You can also just try to talk to everyone. Including cows...

Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection is out now on PS4.
