Oldman is the first to be linked to a Squadron 42 character; he will play Admiral Bishop. Cloud Imperium made these announcements during CitizenCon 2015 this weekend.

The trio joins Andy Serkis, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Strong, Harry Treadway, Jack Huston, and John Rhys-Davies, among others, who will be lending their likenesses and vocal talents to the game.

Cloud Imperium’s full CitizonCon presentation is available on YouTube. You can see the opening cinematic for Squadron 42 and behind the scenes motion capture footage from 1:13:00 onwards.

Star Citizen’s crowdfunding total sits at $92 million, making it the most backed crowdfunding project ever. Cloud Imperium expects it to reach $100 million by the end of the year.

This level of funding has come with its own issues. Star Citizen’s creator, Chris Roberts, has had to address accusations of feature creep, while they’ve also had to dismiss rumours that Cloud Imperium is set to close.
