Apple wants to put an iRing on it

Thanks Beyoncé... Apple is reportedly planning to launch a gadget that will slot onto your finger, allowing you to take tell the time, text, and even take photos.

Apple wants to put an iRing on it

Apple has been granted a patent for the iRing, which will feature a tiny touchscreen and can also be interacted with using a microphone. The microphone can be used to dictate messages, apps will be available using your thumb, and a small camera will let you take photos if you want to live out your spy dreams.

The iRing will also reportedly feature biometric sensors to keep an eye on your heart rate, perspiration levels and temperature.

The patent even includes plans to detect the writing motion of the user, allowing it to digitally record hand-written notes.

Like the Apple Watch, the iRing would interact with your iPhone. Health data will likely be sent to a phone app, while it could act as a GPS receiver to display maps.
