Second Street Fighter V beta will feature cross-play functionality

The beta will begin on October 22nd and run until October 25th. Capcom will soon announce the exact times, though it also mentioned that dates are subject to change.

This will be the first time that those on PC will be able to participate in a beta for Street Fighter V. The beta will open up to PC players on October 24th, which is when PC and PlayStation 4 players will be able to face one another.

When the beta launches, players will be able to select a variety of new characters, including Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika. Rashid will join the roster on October 23rd, while Karin will be added the following day. Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash and M. Bison won’t make an appearance this time around.

Capcom noted that this is a beta, so users may experience issues. Street Fighter fans will be hoping that this runs a little smoother than the first beta, which Capcom has since apologised for.

European players can apply to be a part of the beta on the Street Fighter V Beta Enroll site.
