VIDEO - Very cool launch trailer for The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is about to get even bigger with the arrival of the first major expansion - Hearts of Stone. And it's looking very, very tasty indeed.

The first of two planned expansions, Hearts of Stone takes Geralt on an entirely new mission to slay a dreaded bandit captain. It turns out that isn't so easy, and he gets trapped in a new area, branded with wyrd words and set on a path with old and familiar faces.

CD Project RED is promising at least 10 hours of gameplay here, which means its probably more like 30 when you factor in side quests and getting into fights just to enjoy the new kill animations and powers. Those new special abilities will definitely be welcome for those who have grown a bit tired of the main powers in the game, and there's also a romance to be had if you're interested.

The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone lands on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on the 13th of October. You can get it as part of the season pass for €25.
