Is Lethal Weapon about to get a TV show?

The trend of porting movies to the small screen shows no sign of slowing down. The latest film franchise in line to be turned into a TV series is Lethal Weapon.

But don’t expect it to be the same Lethal Weapon that you may know and love. According to Deadline, Matt Miller is working on a script, which is seemingly more of a straight drama.

The series will reportedly see Martin Riggs move to LA after the loss of his wife and baby. He’s partnered with LAPD Detective, Roger Murtaugh who has been told to avoid stress after a “minor” heart attack.
