Fury Road director says two more Mad Max films are planned

George Miller, the director of Mad Max: Fury Road, has two more Mad Max-themed films in the pipeline.

He told Top Gear that because of issues faced in production – they were rained out of Australia – they ended up with a couple of stories to tell. They were able to explore the characters, and even the backstory of the vehicles. How the steering wheels became religious artefacts and things like that,” he explained.

They ended up with two scripts, Miller revealed. He is now in talks with Warner Bros, but hasn’t decided which story will happen first.
