At Irish cinemas October 9th

Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve is back with another hard hitting feature in this week's Sicario and it's otherwise a pretty quite week - maybe so see The Martian if you haven't caught it yet!

Emily Blunt plays an FBI agent who gets drawn south of the border into Mexico on the trail of a notorious drug lord. Things get very intense in Denis Villeneuve's latest, with great turns by Blunt and co-star Benicio del Toro. The director is making Blade Runner 2 next. No pressure!

Red Army

This enthralling documentary is all about the goings on behind the scenes of ice hocky in the Soviet Union. Sounds like a strange subjects but the subjects have amazing stories, especially as the players make the move to the US and the real culture clash begins. One of the best documentaries of the year.

Ethan Hawke plays a man at the edge of his own sanity - pretty much a part he was born to play. He stars with Emma Watson in a film about a man accused of a terrible crime that he has no memory of. From Alejandro Amenábar, director of The Others.
