Brendan Gleeson and Jeremy Irons join Assassin's Creed cast

Brendan Gleeson and Jeremy Irons are the latest Hollywood heavyweights to be added to the cast for the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie.

They join the already cast Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. Deadline is reporting that Gleeson will play the father of Fassbender, while Irons will father Cotillard.

Justin Kurzel, who recently worked with both Fassbender and Cotillard on Macbeth, will direct the film.
