How to stop Apple Music charging you from tomorrow

Were you one of those people that jumped on the back of the Apple Music’s bandwagon almost three months ago?

How to stop Apple Music charging you from tomorrow

Well, from today your three month free trial is up and they are about to start charging you - €9.99 a month from October 1.

So, if you’re anything like us and haven’t decided on your music streaming weapon of choice, then here is how cancel your subscription without paying a cent.
  • Open iTunes on your PC or Mac
  • Select your account
  • Click on the Subscriptions option, then Manage link.
  • Locate your Apple Music membership
  •  Switch off auto-renewal

BEWARE: Apple Music doesn’t have a free listening option of any kind, so if you don’t turn off this option you will be charged.

Alternatively, if you know where to look in the Apple Music app on your iOS device, you can disable the subscription there as well.

Unfortunately if you have already been charged for the month of October, you can’t cancel it.

Although turning off auto-renewal will stop the charge from recurring.
