U2 will make video game debut in Rock Band 4

You would think that U2 has accomplished everything that a band could hope for at this stage of their career, but apparently not. The realm of video games has eluded them until now. U2’s songs will be featured in the upcoming Rock Band 4.

U2 will make video game debut in Rock Band 4

This will be the first time that U2 - who have 13 studio albums, sold out arena shows in the world’s biggest venues, and won 22 Grammy Awards - will be featured in a rhythm action music game. Now, they will be able to say that they’ve done it all.

Harmonix announced that U2’s “I Will Follow” from their classic debut Boy, as well as “Cedarwood Road” from Songs of Innocence will be featured in Rock Band 4.

But this is only the beginning. The developer said that fans can expect additional U2 tracks to be added to the in-game Music Store for download after launch.

U2 joins the likes of Aerosmith, Elvis Presley, Foo Fighters, Van Halen, Queens of the Stone Age, The Who, and many more in Rock Band 4.

Rock Band 4 will be released on October 6th, 2015 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
