VIDEO New Rise of the Tomb Raider footage

Lara Croft is back in 2015 with the Xbox exclusive (for awhile anyway) Rise of the Tomb Raider. And, quite naturally, she's on the trail of something cool and is getting herself into all kinds of trouble.

The game was out in force at the recent Tokyo Fanfest, with a new livestream and a playable portion of the game. Here's some good quality off screen footage of the playable demo, which offers all new footage and looks rather amazing indeed.

Rise of the Tomb Raider sees Lara heading to the icy wastes of Siberia trying to find an ancient city and possibly the root of the myth of immortality. There's an evil organisation behind her, and some supernatural sights ahead, as well as a whole lot of shootin' and lootin'. The game is once again developed by Crystal Dynamics, following on from the wonderful 2013 reboot simply titled Tomb Raider. You really should play it if you haven't already.

Rise of the Tomb Raider comes first to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on the 10th of November 2015, releasing in early 2016 on PC and late 2016 on PS4.
