Five years on, some PC players are still holding out hope that Rockstar Games will announce a PC version of Red Dead Redemption. But former Lead Multiplayer Designer, Kris Roberts, may have just dashed the hopes of even the most faithful believers.

While streaming and answering fan questions, he said that he didn’t think that Rockstar ever intended to release a PC version of Red Dead Redemption.

This is something that Rockstar Games has skirted around in the past. In a Q&A from 2011, Rockstar acknowledged that it hadn’t said anything about a Red Dead Redemption release when outlining its PC release plans.
