Colin Farrell set for Irish premiere of The Lobster

Yorgos Lanthimos' new film is called The Lobster and it's about a weird world where people have to find a mate or they'll get turned into an animal. At least you get to choose what animal it is.

The film has a brilliant cast, including Rachel Weisz, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux and John C. Reilly. Here's the trailer. It is very weird.

Irish lad Colin Farrell plays the lead role of a down on his luck sort who only has a few weeks left to find a mate, though the upside is he's already decided he'd like to be turned into a lobster, which is a very good choice.

And Farrell will be bringing the film to Dublin. He's set to attend the Irish premiere of The Lobster on Thursday the 8th of October 2015 at the Lighthouse cinema in Smithfield Dublin 7.

The film will go on general release on the 16th of October 2015.
