VIDEO: Assassin's Creed Syndicate story trailer - Enemies and Plot
We got the chance to play some of the game last week and Ubisoft was keen to point out the the plot has been streamlined in this entry. So from the very start you'll know exactly who your enemies are, what they did to earn your malice and what you're planning to do about it. That should be a refreshing change from the sprawling, politically charged mess which was the narrative for Unity.
In this trailer you also get a taste for the tone of the new game, which promises to be a bit lighter thanks to the quippy nature of leading characters Jacob and Evie Frye. They're twins and generally rip the piss out of eachother whenever possible, which nicely contrasts with the overall story about the Assassin's and Templars and all things stabby.
So far, Syndicate is shaping up to be a great new entry in the series. But will it be more fun than Assassin's Creed Pirates? We'll have to wait and see.
