Game of Thrones continues folks, and it's not going away any time soon.

Jon Snow might know something - is he really dead?

The same can't be said for its large cast of characters which tends to come down with a serious case of deaditis around the second to last episode of every blood-filled season. One of the casualties of the most recent run was Jon Snow, and the world did weep. Because he's pretty. And one of the few fairly compelling characters.

Now the actor who embodies the Snow, that's Kit Harington, has been having some chats which suggest he might not be entirely done with the character:

"I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a [double-edged] sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract... Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects"

So the lad definitely wants to do more movies - which is great so long as they're better than Pompeii - and there's the small suggestion that he's still part of Game of Thrones. That might not necessarily mean a lot, most of the main cast signed to 7 season deals back in the day and that includes several folks who have long since gone the way of the Red Wedding. But it does mean that HBO could call him back at any time.

The most boring possibility here is that he'll show up in some kind of flashback but we're much more for the idea of some icy zombie action - now that we're finally getting a taste of what those White Walkers are capable of.

Time will tell, but we probably haven't seen the last of Jon 'know nothing Snow.

Game of Thrones is back in April 2016.
