Skype has a new thing coming to its mobile apps and desktop. And they're called Mojis.

They seem to basically be a cross between emoji and GIFs - letting you select a tiny little animation from popular movies and TV shows to accurately describe your current emotional state without the bother of having to type. Why not let a Minion speak of your boundless joy, or David Brent get across how totally awkward you're feeling right now.

It's hardly a life changing update but Microsoft has worked with several companies like Universal, Disney and BBC to ensure a good amount of content. So you'll have stuff from Despicable Me, Pitch Perfect and Jurassic Park at launch. Oh and these folks.
