The first ever 8K TV will cost you over 100 thousand quid
While most of us are just getting around to the idea of potentially having 4K resolution in our living rooms (or on our smartphones, if you're Sony), Sharp has gone one better with the introduction of the first commercially available 8K screen.
The company's LV-85001 boasts an image size of 7680 x 4320 million pixels. Which is just a little bit more than the 1920 x 1080 panel you likely have around the house. It's 85 inches diagonally as well, so they haven't scrimped on any part of this big screen equation.
