Hunt Jack the Ripper in Assassin's Creed DLC

Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes players to Victorian era London, giving them plenty of chances to intersect with characters both famous and infamous. And one of the latter will be the source of a special piece of DLC.

Jack the Ripper content will be part of the season pass, and has been announced at the Tokyo Game Show with a gorgeously grim trailer.

The use of light and shadow here is extraordinary, reminding us that the Assassin's Creed series has some of the best art direction around. The focus on a brutal murderer from the not-so-distant past is a bit of a change of pace for the series, and we're pretty sure you'll be hunting the killer down as part of some story-driven missions. There's a chance that you could also play as Jack, but we can't think of a way for Ubisoft to make that feel anything less than obscene.
