VIDEO NSFW trailer for Hardcore first person flick
We've been curious about Hardcore for a good while now, ever since the project popped up on Indiegogo back in November 2014, looking for some completion funding. And why were were so interested? Well it's an action film shot from a first person perspective which unspools without a single apparent cut.
Using a supercool headmounted GoPro rig, it's all made to look like one big action scene - here's an early look at a sequence.
Pretty nuts right? Well the film is finally finished and has just has its first showing as a midnight movie at the Toronto International Film Festival. So that means its time to check out the extremely not safe for work full trailer. Which is not at all quiet or subtle for your Monday morning.
The film has clearly come a long way since the original campaign, with the addition of some strong CG effects and a whole lot more Sharlto Copley, which is never a bad thing. Hayley Bennett is in there as well but the star of the show has to be the camera and stuntwork, allowing for long scenes with no obvious cuts. The trailer isn't the best showcase of that, but the final film is set to be absolutely breathtaking. Early reviews are strong as well. In short, we can't wait!
Unfortunately there's no confirmed release date for it yet, with those Indiegogo backers still waiting to get their digital copies. More news as we get it.
