VIDEO: Here's how Hawkeye will work in rugby

The video from World Rugby not only details situations in which Hawkeye can be used, but provides real world examples from recent games. It will be used to offer the television match official (TMO) simultaneous angles of try-scoring situations, which should remove all uncertainty over whether the ball is grounded before a player’s foot hits the touchline.
While it’s not quite on the level of CSI’s enhancement software, the TMO will also be able to zoom in to see the grounding of the ball. This feature was used recently in the Barbarians vs Samoa match.
