At Irish cinemas September 11th

You like Tom Hardy right? How about getting twice the Hardy in a new movie where he plays the Kray twins, that's coming out this week. Also there's new horror from M Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) and adventure with the sequel to The Maze Runner.

Legend

Tom Hardy and... Tom Hardy play the Kray twins - British gangsters who ruled the land in London in the 60s. Previously played by Martin and Gary Kemp in a 1990 movie, double the Hardy will definitely draw in audiences for this crazy true story.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

James Dashner's book series gets a second adaptation. The Maze Runner was an entertaining teen-friendly adventure and this sequel seems to widen out the world hugely, while delivering darker thrills and tons of action. The film stars Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario and Patricia Clarkson.

Irrational Man

Woody Allen just can't stop making movies. This time he's got Joaquin Phoenix in playing his neurotic analogue - a philosphy professor who feels better about his life when he starts dating Emma Stone. Which makes sense. Expect lots of muttering and wordplay and some creepiness.

The Visit

M Night Shayamalan returns to the horror genre he did his best work in - like The Sixth Sense and The Village. Here two kids to to visit their grandparents and discover a mystery which gets a whole lot darker, stranger and more terrifying before the end.
