VIDEO Jimmy Kimmel talks to gamers about Let's Play videos

So YouTube Gaming launched a while back, essentially like Twitch but owned by Google instead of Amazon and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel did a sketch saying that watching people playing games was stoopid. The spelling is like that on purpose.

Predictably, the internet did its thing and cursed him, suggesting he end his life in a number of creative and generally poorly spelled ways. And the chatty man saw an opportunity for more attention so he commented on the commenters... there's a bit of irony there.

Now he's decided to get a bunch of actual gamers together to find out what the whole game streaming community is about. Here's how got on with Markiplier and MissesMae.

It's still all a bit condescending on the part of Kimmel but at least he's trying. Sort of... Really this is just the overreaction of a small percentage of commenters and they're mostly just talking the way people on the internet do. That's a sad fact, but Kimmel is definitely out of touch with this audience, and he's not going to earn any new fans this way.
