Batman Arkham Knight PC patch officially out
This so-called interim patch briefly appeared during the week and was taken down just as suddenly, presumably because it wasn’t quite ready. But it’s back and brings a few changes to the fairly broken version of the game.
Here are some patch notes:
- Reduced frame-rate hitches.
- Optimisations for system memory and VRAM usage.
- Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers).
- More comprehensive in-game settings.
- Fixed low resolution texture bugs.
- Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD).
It’s good to see some work being done but Warner Bros Games has been open about the fact that this is just a first go at fixing the game. A major patch is still in the works to bring the game up to scratch. For right now, those who have the game should find it more playable but you still can’t buy Arkham Knight on PC so it’s pretty clear even the publishers don’t think its ready for the public yet.
Go get the update if you can now!
