VIDEO Jimmy Kimmel responds to angry comments from gamers

Last week on his show, Jimmy Kimmel featured a bit about the new YouTube game streaming service. He was a little down on the point of watching people playing games. Here's how it went...

It's just a bit at the top of his show, written and performed for laughs at the expense of the concept of watching people watching other people playing games. Which isn't even what YouTube game streaming will be doing, But that hasn't stopped the internet from doing what it does best - overreacting.

This week, Kimmel is talking about gaming again but this time he's focussed on the comments left on his original video. Gamers aren't happy with what he was saying and they're being typically horrible in their reactions. Check out the new video here.

In fairness to Kimmel he never had a bad word to say about gaming in general, it's not something he's interested in, and the original sketch wasn't particularly mean-spirited - though it wasn't very funny either. At the end of the most recent video he does make some further comments which are obviously there to further enrage the commenters. He's on a topic which will get him more views online and maybe a boost in viewership so it's not going to stop yet, but it's all getting a bit juvenile.
