Asus ZenWatch 2 is the cheapest wearable around
The important information - this is a smartwatch which will cost as little as €149 at launch. The internal specs are pretty standard for a smartwatch, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.45/1.63 inch screen and basic motion detecting stuff inside. There's decent water and dust proofing which is always a plus and an improved metal and magnetic charging solution.
It looks like the larger version has the novel function of being able to charge some other devices as a powerbank, though with a 400 mAh battery it isn't going to help much. The first ZenWatch was pretty well received for its smart looks and simple functionality and Android Wear has only improved since then. If ASUS can get the basics right this time and keep that price point low they could have a wearable which can finally reach the masses.
