Room, from the book by Irish author Emma Donoghue, is a unique story told from the perspective of a young boy called Jack who lives alone in the universe save for his mother.

It's a film that comes with many unique challenges when trying to pen an adaptation, with Irish filmmaker Lenny Abrahamson managing to get Donoghue on board to pen the screenplay. And he also has plenty of help from a wonderful cast including Brie Larson, William H Macy and newcomer Jacob Tremblay.
