It's been seven years since a fully fledged Metal Gear game was released, and no we're not counting Revengeance - even though we think its a lot of fun. The Phantom Pain gains some extra significance because it will be the last game Hideo Kojima makes with Konami and very likely the last time we ever see his name near a MGS game. Which is a pretty sad state of affairs.
To celebrate this final game a Collector's Edition has been released which features some very fancy goodies. Here's a look at what's inside, from an unboxing by IGN.
As mentioned, the set does seem to be sold out right now but you can be sure that some units will be turning up on sites like eBay in the not so distant future. Hopefully this video will help you decide whether its worth the premium price.
The hand is kind of cool but it does look a little plasticky and flimsy. The rest of the set is attractive enough and the making of content will appeal to fans.
