The Deadpool game is getting a remaster in November for some reason
The original game was roundly ignored by most players back in June 2013, and that's kind of a shame because the character of Deadpool was brought to life in a suprisingly eccentric and entertaining way, partly thanks to great voice work by Nolan North. The gags were funny, the cut scenes were ridiculous and the action was fun in a dopey kind of way.
If you missed it way back when, Activision is going to give you another go on newer consoles, according to a listing on Gamestop where you can pre-order now. The re-release also includes the DLC for the original game - which was just a couple of extra challenge maps and some costumes.
So... why is this happening? If you're going to re-release the game wouldn't it be a better idea to wait just a couple of months until the major motion picture starring Ryan Reynolds WHICH IS ALSO CALLED DEADPOOL IS IN CINEMAS?! That's just a thought, it would basically advertise itself. The other issue is that Activision recently released a couple of terrible ports of Prototype and its sequel and if that's the same quality they're putting into Deadpool then it's going to crash and burn. Especially at the list price of $50.
The game is still fun though, we promise!
