Cliffy B's new game is called LawBreakers - more here
It’s the new game from Boss Key Productions who worked on the Unreal games and Gears of War at Epic as well as stuff like Bulletstorm.
Which we really liked. LawBreakers is set to be a free to play, team based sci-fi shooter, coming exclusively to PC.
There’s a live stream going on here at Twitch. Hopefully it will be archived so we can skip past the many minutes of waffle.
The trailer had some gravelly voice over dude talking about The Shattering - the time when the world was cracked and gravity was screwed up forever.
Humanity survived and the world went on, until the gang wars started and new technologies were brought to the battlefield. Now super powered soldiers from the side of law will fight against the criminals on the streets.
It ended with: ’You Uphold the Law, or You Break it!’
There’s not a lot of info out there about the game yet - the footage shown was a promo and not gameplay and Cliffy B himself has been talking about it for well over a year without much to show for it.
Which is something he excells at. Hopefully we’ll have more concrete info soon, as well as some idea of a release date.
