VIDEO: Hideo Kojima's launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
It’s an emotionally charged video that delves into the history of the franchise. Titled “Evolution and Harmony,” the trailer charts the journey of the series to date. It takes us all the way back to 1998 and features highlights from each release up to the release of 2010’s Peace Walker on PSP.
The trailer then showcases what Metal Gear 5 has to offer. It promises “the ultimate thrill, the ultimate story, the ultimate scale, and the ultimate evolution.” We also get a look at “the ultimate Metal Gear.”
