The sixth season of AMC's The Walking Dead will be back on screens in October and you can get a first glimpse at some talking here

The Walking Dead is a show about an increasingly small group of folks trying to survive when the world gets overrun by zombies. It's pretty clear that the title refers as much to the humans who will soon be corpses as it does to the actual shambling and rotting hordes.

Anyway the sixth season is set to debut in October and the promos are already gearing up. Here's the first clip from the show, with a chat between Michael Cudlitz and Sonequa Martain-Green.

So she's having some tough emotional times and he's along for the ride. And they're off to do something big. I didn't even get to see a zombie being brained in an inventive fashion!

As someone who checked out on The Walking Dead a couple of seasons back this does nothing to draw me back into the fold. But if you're hankering for some zombie action spin-off show Fear the Walking Dead has just kicked off its first season in the States. And the early reviews are pretty decent.

The Walking Dead season 6 comes to AMC on the 11th of October 2015.
