Asus releasing a phone with 256 gigs of storage
Even with internal microSD card slots that’s a number which few if any other handsets can reach.
Thirty-two gigs is a pretty average size for phone storage these days, well Asus wants to offer you eight times as much.
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition also comes with a new polygonal pattern on its backplate - which looks pretty nice - and there’s also an option for one made of carbon fibre if you’re interested in keeping that storage as safe from harm as possible.
It’s hard to imagine ever filling that much storage, unless you’re constantly shooting high definition video or syncing the world’s biggest music library.
The only real bad news here is that the phone has only been announced for the Brazilian market - apparently they like a lot of storage in South America.
There’s no word yet on an international release or pricing but with the original Zenfone 2 retailing for as little as $200 it’s likely to be quite competitive.
More as we get it.
