VIDEO: Watch Android Marshmallow's statue being built
The Android Lawn Sculptures are the work of Gio and his team in New Jersey. He uses Styrofoam, which he can shape and sculpt, before spraying it with a plastic hard coating. They then paint the sculpture and ship it cross-country to Google.
The YouTubers also took it upon themselves to find out why Android’s releases are named after desserts and some other interesting bits of trivia. It was admitted, for example, that Google likes trolling fans from time to time.
Dave Burke, as many Android fans will know, decided to wear a watch to Google I/O with a watch face showing desserts starting with M. All went according to plan and eagle-eyed viewers zoomed in on the watch that showed a Milkshake. And, of course, the rumour of Android Milkshake gained momentum.
In the end, Google went with Android Marshmallow instead.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be released “later this fall.”
