Hideo Kojima will edit one last Metal Gear Solid V trailer

Hideo Kojima has revealed that he is editing a new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer, which is likely to be the last, and his last, before the game launches.

He took to Twitter to make the announcement. “As the launch is approaching I'm editing new trailer w/less spoiler. ‘The evolution & harmony of Metal Gear,’ if I name it in EXPO-ish theme,” he tweeted.

This could be taken as one final parting shot at Konami. It’s clear that he didn’t edit the Gamescom trailer for Metal Gear Solid V, and that was a little spoilery.

Here’s the Gamescom trailer if you’d like to see for yourself what Kojima is none-too-subtly hinting at.

Kojima didn’t give any indication as to when we can expect this trailer to arrive.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on September 1st on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
