M Night Shyamalan is coming to Dublin for a special screening of The Visit!

Director M. Night Shyamalan has a new movie coming out and he's coming to Dublin to present the film and take part in a Q&A!

The Visit is about two young kids who go to visit their grandparents at an isolated house. Bed time is strictly enforced and as the story goes on we start to find out why...

Shyamalan is the acclaimed filmmaker behind horror hits like The Sixth Sense and Signs and he's coming to Dublin to chat about his new movie after a special early screening. The Visit will show at 7pm on Sunday the 30th of August 2015 in the Lighthouse cinema Dublin. Tickets are €12 each and you can get them here.

On top of that, the Lighthouse will be showing three of his best films as part of a mini-Shyamalan season. Here's the list of titles and dates.

The Sixth Sense - Friday 28th August - 8.15pm

Unbreakable - Saturday 29th of August - 8.30pm

Signs - Saturday 29th of August - 4pm

We would have liked to have seen The Village in there, it's a bit of an underrated horror/thriller with some really startling images. The Visit is produced by the very busy Jason Blum, who also helped to bring movies like Paranormal Activity, Sinister, The Purge, The Gift, Insidious, Whiplash and more to the big screen. It stars Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Peter McRobbie, Olivia De Jonge and Deanna Dunagan. And it looks pretty creepy.

The Visit is on general release in Ireland on the 11th of September 2015.
