Capcom is working on a Resident Evil 2 remake

Capcom announced that it is remaking Resident Evil 2.

Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabyashi made the announcement in a YouTube video dedicated to all Resident Evil fans. Sporting a t-shirt that said, “We do it!” and standing beside a screen with a Resident Evil 2 logo on it, he announced that the project has been given the green light.

He said, “Thanks to your incredible passion and support, the project has finally been approved for development.”
