PS4 could get YouTube broadcasting soon

PlayStation 4 owners could soon have a new option when they decide to stream their gaming session.

Japanese website PocketNews reports that PlayStation 4 users will be able to broadcast gameplay on YouTube or upload 10-second videos to Twitter. This feature was revealed by beta testers of the 3.00 update.

The update also features Events, Communities and a new layout for the message screen.

Communities will apparently let players find players who have "similar tastes and interests." The update’s changelog indicates that you’ll be able to play games, join parties or talk about shared interests with members in the community.

The Now Playing tab will show what games members of the community are playing. From there, you can start a game, join a party or send a request to watch a member's gameplay.

Sony is yet to announce these new features, but it’s likely only a matter of time.
