Super Mario Maker will include level from Rayman's creator

Rayman creator Michel Ancel has built one of the levels that will be included in Super Mario Maker.

His will be one of 60 levels that come included in the game at launch. You can see Ancel experimenting with the Super Mario Maker level creator in the trailer below.

He took his task of building a level seriously; he even breaks out the graph paper and sketches his various ideas.

As well as Ancel’s experience building a level, the trailer also features footage from some of the other weird and wacky levels that will feature in the game. There’s even a glimpse at footage from the finals of the Nintendo World Championships, which were held at E3.

Ancel had a hand in designing every major Rayman release, right up to the most recent Rayman Legends. He is currently working on PlayStation 4-exclusive animal adventure Wild at his new independent games studio, Wild Sheep.
