See Monty Python and the Holy Grail in the Lighthouse in Dublin
We previously reported that Monty Python and the Holy Grail would be back in cinemas in October in the UK and now we're happy to confirm that you'll also be able to see it in Ireland!
The classic comedy caper is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2015 and the Lighthouse Cinema Dublin will be holding a special screening of a newly commissioned sing-a-long version of the film on the 14th of October at 7pm. You'll also get to see an exclusive introduction featuring the remaining Pythons who are still living and breathing: John Cleese, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle.
It's a unique opportunity to see the many silly gags and shrubberies on the big screen for the first time in many a decade and to sing along with the singing bits and laugh along to all the other bits.
You can get all the information you need about the event right here.
If you can't make it along to the screening the film is getting a 40th anniversary home video release later in 2015. There might even be new special features but we'll be happy so long as it still has the 'subtitles for people who don't like the film.' Which is pretty much genius.
