VIDEO: Deadpool teaser is brilliant and NSFW

Ryan Reynolds is starring as Deadpool which means we get a totally self aware teaser for the upcoming trailer and its freaking hilarious

Deadpool is a real movie that's actually being made, and now we've got the first official footage. While a full trailer is set to be unveiled later on today (August 4th) we've firstly got the pleasure of meeting the teaser for the full trailer. And in typical Deadpool fashion its a piece of self-aware magic.

Wow.

So there's a lot going on here, including Reynolds as Deadpool openly mocking the studio which made the film by referencing the previous appearence of the character in X-Men Origins Wolverine.

There Reynolds got to play a cool version of Wade Wilson then instead of becoming Deadpool he had his mouth sewn shut to create Weapon X for a terrible final fight against Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. For a character who is all about mouthing off, it made zero sense.

Then there's the zany sense of humour (love the moment where he tries to smoke the pipe) and the self-aware chatting to the camera. It looks like Reynolds and director Tim Miller really know what they're doing here, and we can't wait to see the full trailer and the final result. It's just a shame that Reynolds has already said he won't play the character again. But if the film is successful, anything can happen.

Deadpool is in cinemas in February 2016.
