Windows 10 Mobile may not be released until November

Windows 10 is now rolling out across the world, but mobile users may have to wait some time to get their hands on Windows 10 Mobile.

At the launch party for Windows 10, Windows and Surface Business Group Lead at Microsoft SA, Anthony Doherty, told iAfrica.com that it’s a “November timeframe” for the release of Windows 10 Mobile.

It is worth bearing in mind that the November timeframe may apply to African markets, as he was speaking to a South African website. A European and US release could potentially be sooner.

It was previously expected that Windows 10 Mobile would be released in September or October.

There’s no official word yet, but we will keep you updated as more news emerges. There won’t be a Windows 10 Mobile release today anyways. However, if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on Windows 10, it starts rolling out today.
