Project Cars cancelled on Wii U

Slightly Mad Studios has officially cancelled the Wii U version of Project Cars. It is likely focusing on Nintendo's next console, the NX.

Project Cars had a challenging development cycle, which saw its release date pushed back again and again. But as the delays became more frequent, the Wii U’s version stopped being mentioned. Slightly Mad Studios has now officially cancelled Project Cars’ Wii U release.

In a statement, Slightly Mad Studios confirmed that it has ceased development on the Wii U version of Project Cars. It says that the game is “simply too much for the Wii U."
